Click the download to see a 1920x690 version (biggest I uploaded). The original file is 18776x6746 (on my computer)! :)

Spent some extra time refining my panoramic techniques with this piece. The horizon is a bit wobbly as I didn't use a tripod. However, I did use a plugin called Smartblend to blend the photos together for the first time, instead of using a default blender. Which worked really well, decreasing the number of misaligned seams and glitches along the seams. Which saved a lot of time later masking in photoshop to fix these mistakes. Would recommend
Smartblend plugin for the blender.

PTGui Pro: aligning, optimized vignetting, stitching (PTGui), blending (
Smartblend plugin). interpolator (Default, but it's usually just Sinc16 for non-HDR). Output file optoimum size set to max, Photoshop large (16 bit).

Download Smartblend plugin (zip file near the bottom): wiki.panotools.org/SmartBlend
Using Smartblend plugin on a mac and PTGui: youtu.be/vnpCdeI6Ujc
Download Wine (if you don't have it already): www.winehq.org
It's worth the hassle and extra time to blend!

General info about PTGui 'Create Panorama' tab: www.ptgui.com/ptguihelp/main_c…

Example of different interpolators (stick with Default if still unsure) : photocreations.ca/interpolator…

Photoshop: Used to do masking and more masking. Outputted "individual layers only" (layers) in PTGui and used that to mask any misaligned or glitched seams. Save file as a Photoshop (.psd) file as to make it possible to import into Lightroom.

Lightroom: Final edits, at this point just edit like a normal photo (e.g. exposure, contrast, dust spots, etc.).

Have you tried defining horizontal lines in each photo?
